Download Arduino 1.6.5 for Windows PC from FileHorse. 100% Safe and Secure Free Download (32-bit/64-bit) Software Version. The following was the setup environment for ESP32 with Arduino IDE. Arduino IDE 1.6.5. Python2.7 UPDATE The following setup that works: Ubuntu14.04 x86 desktop, Arduino IDE 1.6.12, python2.7 There is a gotcha moment; caveat emptor. UPDATE: works with Ubuntu14.04 UPDATE1: attempted to download to my ESP32 (ESP31B). Platform specification. This specification is a 3 rd party hardware format to be used in Arduino development software starting from the Arduino IDE 1.5.x series. This specification allows a 3 rd party vendor/maintainer to add support for new boards to the Arduino development software by providing a file to unzip into the hardware folder of Arduino's sketchbook folder.

Download the Arduino Software (IDE)

Get the latest version from the download page. Fight songs: the music of team fortress 2 for mac. You can choose between the Installer (.exe) and the Zip packages. We suggest you use the first one that installs directly everything you need to use the Arduino Software (IDE), including the drivers. With the Zip package you need to install the drivers manually. The Zip file is also useful if you want to create a portable installation.

When the download finishes, proceed with the installation and please allow the driver installation process when you get a warning from the operating system.

Choose the components to install


Choose the installation directory (we suggest to keep the default one)


The process will extract and install all the required files to execute properly the Arduino Software (IDE)

Proceed with board specific instructions

When the Arduino Software (IDE) is properly installed you can go back to the Getting Started Home and choose your board from the list on the right of the page.

    • Added keyboard shortcuts to IDE menus: ALT+F for File, ALT+E for Edit and so on
    • Added support for Dangerous Prototypes Bus Pirate as ISP
    • Added 'Close' button to Boards/Libs Managers, in order to help linux people with weird Window Managers
    • Added File > Open Recent menu, showing the last 5 opened sketches
